A hair trimmer kit will almost always come with a little brush. This brush is used to clean the clipper blades of loose hairs. Hairs will impair the function of the blades and result in rough, uneven cuts. The clipper should be properly cleaned after each use. (If giving several haircuts at a time, it is OK to leave the cleaning until the final cut.) If the brush is lost or not included with the trimmer, an old, soft, clean toothbrush will work fine for this purpose.
